Summer days growing up in Ocean Grove meant sandy hair, riding bikes and trawling the caravan parks in search of new and returning mates. It was a mecca for good times.

Now, I’ve grown up and so has our town. A hub of award-winning wineries, cafes and pubs, yoga and surfing, boutique shopping and local markets, Ocean Grove has become the heart and soul of the Bellarine Peninsula.

Returning home from years overseas with insight from sleeping on top bunks, train carriages, stuffy boat cabins, cheap tents, and colourful hammocks, I was reunited with my neck of the woods and loved what it had become. It was too good not to share.

So welcome to The Woods; our little patch of bushland set right on the beach. We are proud to offer a cabin accommodation stop-over that’s a little different from the rest.

Along with my husband who hails from Warrnambool, we are happily raising our two daughters who are a fourth generation Ocean Grove family. This town is in our DNA!
